Get ready for another great year packed with CX bike skills clinics and fun!
Season Kickoff Event
Don’t miss our Donderdag Season Kickoff event on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 9:30am – 11:30am at the Donderdag Cyclocross Course (directions below). Come explore the course and get pre-registered for our Thursday night clinics, so all you have to do is check in via smartphone on Thursday nights. At 10:00am, we’ll make a few announcements about the upcoming season, and answer any questions you have. Bring any bike you have to ride. Adults are always encouraged to join in on their bikes but must sign in to ride and, of course, wear a helmet at all times. Remember, the Donderdag! Clinics are open to riders, FREE of charge, to all ages and experience levels. WE LOVE NEWBIES!
Weekly Skills Clinics
What: Free CX fun for all ages (striders to experienced racers)
When: Thursday evenings from 6:30pm – 8:00pm starting September 7, 2023. As the seasons change remember to bring front and rear lights! Amy updates will be posted to the Donderdag! Facebook page.

Our location is just North of Shawnee Mission Parkway and Woodland Drive in Western Shawnee, less than 3 miles from 435 & Shawnee Mission Parkway.
Our location has:
- Lots of space where we can change up the course through out the season
- Terrain changes
- An enormous sandpit (30′ x 240′, 3 feet deep)
- Plenty of off-street parking!
- Paved trail access – located just off the Gary Haller Trail, a family friendly paved bike trail that stretches from the Kansas River all the way out to Olathe.
